June 28th 2019: Less Than Greater Than, Hudson

Tonight, we decided to check out Less Than Greater Than, a bar restaurant in Hudson. We had a hard time locating this place as we had to enter it by first going into New City Microcreamery, then going to the back of the place and turning on a light to get the receptionist to open the window located there in order to let us in.

A speakeasy, apparently.

Totally not expecting this. For food, we got the Summer Vegetable Salmoriglio (seasonal brassicas, salmoriglio, arugula, fried garlic)

and the Duck Cassoulet (roasted duck breast, duck confit cassoulet, frisee, shaved root veg, blanc BBQ).

Pretty good stuff, I must say. Good thing we did not give up looking for this place.

For dessert, we went back outside into the ice cream place, which we had visited once in the past.

This time, we got the Vegan Strawberry

and the Lime Avocado flavors.

Definitely much better than Vegan Chocolate Avocado.
