Tonight we had dinner at Deadhorse Hill, a pretty new chic bar restaurant in Worcester that has taken the place of Ritual, which I visited a long time ago. They have totally redesigned the place since then,
and it is now a much brighter place than it used to be.
For food, we decided to go with the Crispy Spaetzle (mustard, sugar snaps, creme fraiche)
and the Southern Fried Chix Thighs (beans & greens, hot sauce, honey),
along with the Cucumber and Mint Panna Cotta (puffed rice, streusel, lemon basil) for dessert.
Pretty good actually, although the spaetzle was a little sour. The kale and beans with hot suace and honey perfected the fried chicken, which was tender and juicy as well. The dessert was presented and tasted really interesting as well, with a very refreshing feeling at the end of it all. Not something I would expect from panna cotta at all. Overall, a pretty good meal actually.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
