Today, we decided to have dinner at Pomir Grill, an Afghan restaurant on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester which I really liked the last time I was here many years ago.
This time, we got the Banjan (eggplant cooked with tomato, onions, and peppers and served with bread)
the Beef Short Ribs (Afghan boneless short ribs on sautéed onions and tomatoes served with an in-house pomegranate sauce and rice),
and the Anjeer Sheer Yaakh (fig ice cream) for dessert.
The eggplant and short ribs were flavorful yet not too intense, especially the spinach rice, although the ice cream was just alright by me. Overall, still a really good meal all these years.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
