We started out today with breakfast at the Starbucks at 12 Market Place Drive in Waltham, getting a Caramel Apple Spice, a Double Chocolate Banana Nut Bread (with walnuts and pecans)
and a Steak and Egg Wrap.
The drink and cake were just okay by me, but the wrap was actually pretty delicious, the beef being spiced like an Indian curry.
For lunch, we decided to get Thai at Green Papaya, a pretty popular lunch place for people working in the area.
We got the Half Moon Pancake (browned and fried crispy Thai style pancake stuffed with minced shrimp and scallion, served with nutty cucumber sauce)
and the Singapore Fried Noodles (stir fried thin rice noodles with shrimp, squid, scallops, bean sprouts and scallions in mild yellow curry sauce).
The pancake was a little salty, but tasted great with the sauce that came with it, while the noodles were pretty good as well, though having a little sweetness to them.
Overall, a pretty good meal here. Can see why it's popular.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
