Today, we decided to have dinner at Volturno in Worcester, getting the Pistachio (BERKSHIRE PORK SAUSAGE, PISTACHIO PESTO, MOZZARELLA, PECORINO ROMANO),
the Funghi (WILD MUSHROOMS, GOAT CHEESE, MOZZARELLA, ARUGULA, TRUFFLE CREMA, OLIVE OIL)
and the Ricotta Tartino (brown butter crust, whipped house ricotta, mascerated fig, rhubarb coulis, toasted almond) for dessert.
The pizzas were really good, especially the sausage topping on the first and the mushroom sauce on the second, while the mix of flavors on the tart was just right, although the crust was a little hard. Delicious first experience here for my other half, and the pizzas came out so much faster than we expected.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
