June 19th 2012: Brunch at Brody's Diner, Shrewsbury

Today I did not need to go to work early, so I decided to have some brunch at Brody's Diner on 308 Hartford Turnpike in Shrewsbury. This place, though still pretty typical, is much better than Corner Lunch Diner in Worcester in terms of decor.

I decided to get a cup of Hot Chocolate, and the only thing that seemed interesting to me on the menu was the Monte Cristo Sandwich, made of egg battered bread and filled with turkey, ham and melted Swiss, topped with powdered sugar. In the end, I found the sandwich a little salty and dry, so it did not really suit my fancy.
