January 30th 2022: Dinner Takeout from Hooters, Shrewsbury

 Today, we decided to get takeout from the Hooters in Shrewsbury, getting the Hooters Original Style Wings (breaded by hand)

and the Twisted Texas Melt ( Decked out with Hooters original Daytona Beach® sauce, caramelized onions, bacon and cheddar cheese and served on Texas toast).

The wings were unfortunately soggy, although the sandwich was pretty good. Overall, still substandard fare from this place.

January 25th 2022: One-Eyed Jack's Tiki Bar and Grill, Worcester

 Today for dinner, we decided to check out One-Eyed Jack's Tiki Bar and Grill, a small bar restaurant in Worcester. Okay decor I guess, with a feel of Hawaii.

We got the PINK FLAMINGO (Guava rum, orange liquor blended with passion fruit and fresh juices to give it that unique tropical flavor.),

the Waikiki Sticky Boneless Ribs  (House marinated char siu pork loin grilled to perfection glazed with honey, then cut into strips, and served with a roasted pineapple duck sauce),

the Crispy Haddock Fish Tacos (3 fresh crispy haddock strips fried to perfection in warm flour or corn tortillas with chipotle slaw and fresh mango salsa served with Mexican Rice),

and the Hawaiian Burger (8oz patty topped with grilled pineapple. cheddar cheese, roasted jalapeno, red onion crispy wonton and teriyaki sauce).

The drink was not bad, although the ribs were on the dry side. The main dishes were really good though, the fish being exceptionally crispy, while the flavors of the burger came really well together, the sweet and spicy and crispy for textures. Really good meal here overall.
