February 10th 2020: Fastway Pizza, Worcester

Today for lunch, I decided to get pizza takeout from Fastway Pizza in Worcester, getting a Hawaiian Pizza (Pizza Sauce, Cheese, Ham, Pineapple and Regular Crust).
A little rubbery on the cheese, and nothing special.

February 9th 2020: The Fireplace Room, Bolton

Today in Brockton,
Brockton Tabernacle Church
after checking out the small Westgate Mall in town,
we decided to head to The Fireplace Room in Bolton, an upscale restaurant located within The International Golf Club & Resort.
The restaurant itself is really nice, with its own real fireplace.
for food, we got the SHORT RIB BENEDICT (local vegetable hash, poached egg, short rib demi glaze)
and the BUCATINI & MEATBALLS (bucatini pasta, meatballs, 6 hr red sauce, garlic crostini).
The short rib was not bad, having beef gravy instead of the usual hollandaise sauce, although the meat was tougher than I would have liked it. The pasta was just so-so, but both dishes were way too expensive to be worth coming back again. Nice ambiance though.

February 8th 2020: Stephen Anthony's Restaurant, Marlborough

For dinner tonight, we decided to check out Stephen Anthony's Restaurant, a pretty nice place on the edge of Marlborough.
For food, we got the Pan Seared Crab Cakes (Fresh Maine Crab Cakes served with roasted corn relish),
the Papa's Pesto (fresh zucchini and grape tomatoes sauteed with shallots then tossed with farfalle pasta, basil pesto and fresh mozzarella cheese)
and the Strawberry Shortcake (warm buttermilk biscuit with strawberries and sauce, whipped cream and fresh strawberry).
The crabcakes were really tasty, as was the pasta, although the dessert was just alright. Not bad a restaurant. Good we finally got to try it.

February 7th 2020: Donut from Donut Express, Worcester

Got a Plain Donut from Donut Express at 221 Webster Street in Worcester today. Nothing special really.

February 3rd 2020: Company Lunch from Red Pepper, Worcester

Today, we had a company lunch catered by Red Pepper in Worcester, consisting of Scallion Pancakes, Steamed Dumplings, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoons,
Vegetable Lo Mein and House Lo Mein.
Americanized Chinese food is definitely not what they do well at here.

February 1st 2020: Hop + Grind, Peabody

After a day at the Northshore Mall in Peabody today,

we decided to check out the new burger place that has opened up here, Hop + Grind. Pretty interesting decor, looking like a food truck,
along with old Nintendo game cartridge signs for order numbers.
For food, we got the Hong Kong Gooey Mac Bowl (karate pig patty, house kimchi, scallion, soy, wonton, cheez sauce, macaroni)
and the The Basic B (sweet pickles, crispy onions, american and cheddar,  hop sauce) with Beef Tallow Fries.
Really good burger and macaroni, and the portion size is really generous as well, although the fried themselves were just alright. Maybe we should have gotten sauce on them.
