After work today, I got a Pesto Grilled Cheese (mozzarella, tomato, Pesto on ciabbata)
from Sandwich Hut, a new takeout place in Worcester that has taken the place of Wingman, which I visited a while back.
The sandwich was actually pretty good, and definitely better than the Chicken I had from Wingman.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.

March 30th 2017: Meals in 2 Towns
My first stop today was at Stephanie's Daily Grind, a new cafe that has opened in Grafton in place of Stir Crazy, which I visited a while back, and is affiliated with Breakfast at Stephanie's nearby apparently. Pretty much the same decor anyway from what I remembered.
I even got the same thing, a Hot Chocolate.
Nothing special though.
Next, it was on to Cafe Noir, another cafe in Shrewsbury. The last time I was here, I did not get anything, but this time I got the Thai Chicken with Red Curry Soup.
Bad choice though, tasted really weird.

March 28th 2017: Vietnamese Lunch at Lemongrass, Leominster
We were at the Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster today,
and decided to have lunch at Lemongrass, a relatively new Vietnamese place in town.
We got the Cafe Sua Da (Iced Vietnamese Coffee with Condensed Milk),
the Goi Cuon Bo Nuong Bo (summer roll made with lemongrass marinated sauteed beef, fresh herbs and rice noodles wrapped in rice paper. Served with a peanut dipping sauce)
and the Bun Thit Nuong Tom Cha Gio (rice vermicelli bowl served with grilled chicken, shrimp, shredded lettuce, mint, bean sprouts, cucumber and garnished with crushed peanuts).
Except for the coffee, which was still too bitter for me even with condensed milk, the ingredients for the food dishes were really fresh, the lemongrass doing its work in making the rolls that much more delicious with the peanut sauce, and the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, although a tiny bit salty, but overall delicious with the noodles and fish sauce. Overall, a place I might come back to in the near future, even though the menu was pretty simple.

March 25th 2017: The Boston Flower and Garden Show
We started out today in the Dorchester area of Boston, getting a bowl of Haitian Bouillon at Natif Natal Restaurant, a hole in the wall place at 830 Blue Hill Avenue.
Pretty authentic stuff in a sketchy part of town.
From here, we went to visit Coco Leaf nearby, where we got the Che Thai (hot luu, jackfruit, palm seeds, agar jelly and grass jelly with coconut milk, coconut water, durian)
and the Big Bang Popcorn Chicken this time around.
The durian made the drink delicious, while the chicken was crunchy and flavorful as well. Once again, nothing to be disappointed about here.
From here, it was on to the event for the day, the Boston Flower and Garden Show, held at the World Trade Center in South Boston. Really nice landscaping exhibits, ikebana displays and lots to shop around for.
After leaving the area, we passed by the Lawn on D, where there wasn't much going on this time of year,
on the way to Moonshine 152, a nice bar restaurant nearby in the area, for dinner.
With my groupon, we got the Local Mixed Greens Salad (Strawberry-Basil Vinaigrette, Roasted Kale),
the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Wings (Poblano Ranch Dressing, Celery Parsley Slaw),
The Crispy Flounder Fillet (Fried Pickled Green Tomatoes, Spicy Uni-Shrimp Butter),
and the Crab Cake Risotto (Confit Cherry Tomatoes, Pesto Risotta, Squid Ink Aioli).
The salad was excellent with the crispy kale, and the chicken wings were literally fall off the bone delicious, cooked just perfectly, and definitely the best buttermilk chicken in Massachusetts for sure, although I still prefer Korean fried chicken overall. Even though we were pretty full by then, the entrees were pretty good as well, although the flounder had tiny bones in them.
For dessert, we got the Butterscotch Pudding (Chantilly Crème, Toasted Amaranth Crumble).
I felt it was pretty good, not being too sweet, while my other half felt that it needed some berries for acidity to provide balance to the sweetness, and indeed it did as it got boring after a while. Wouldn't mind coming back to have more chicken though.
