Today for dinner, we decided to check out the 435 Bar and Grille in Leominster, a pretty nice restaurant located within an old mill.
We got the Margherita Pappardelle (sauteed chicken, grape tomatoes, baby spinach, fresh basil & oregano in a light garlic butter sauce topped with fresh mozzarella),
the Baked Stuffed Haddock (crab stuffed filet of haddock finished in a lemon butter sauce served with mashed potatoes & asparagus)
and the Shepherds Pie Stuffed Acorn Squash (roasted acorn squash stuffed with ground beef, onions, celery, carrots & peas topped with parmesan mashed potatoes).
The shepherd's pie was an interesting concept, bu overall, all the dishes were just so-so. Don't think I want to come back again, At least they had complimentary chocolate covered strawberries at the end though.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
