April 6th 2025: Second Week in a Row at Texas Roadhouse, Worcester

Today, we decided to have dinner again at Texas Roadhouse in Worcester, this time getting the Caesar Salad (crispy hearts of romaine, fresh parmesan cheese and made from scratch croutons tossed with our zesty Caesar dressing),

the Grilled Shrimp Appetizer (Seasoned shrimp drizzled with garlic lemon pepper butter and served on toasted fresh-baked bread)

the Texas Red Chili and Smothered Dallas Filet (sauteed mushrooms and onions, most tender steak that is lean)

Not too bad as always from this place, although the salad and shrimp didn't feel all that worth the price.

April 5th 2025: More Eating on Beacon Street in Brookline

We were back again for more at Liyin Rice Roll Master in Brookline today,

this time getting the Three Treasure Rice Roll (Beef, Pork, Chashu),

the Liyin Beef Chow Fun,

the Soybean Milk,
the Four Treasure Porridge

and the Golden Shrimp Red Rice Roll.
Except for the porridge which tasted a little weird, everything else was pretty good, especially the red rice roll and the noodles.

For dessert, we stopped by Kyo Matcha nearby again, this time getting the Ube Towel Cake, Vanilla Cup, and Matcha Red Bean Latte.

Good as always from this place. Glad my parents-in-law liked the dining experience today too.

April 4th 2025: Dessert, then Dinner in Worcester

Today, while repairing my car windshield in Worcester, I decided to check out Lucy's Cake, a relatively new bakery in Worcester,

getting the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake.

A tad too sweet for my liking though.

Later, dinner was at the Sole Proprietor in town.
This time, we got the LOBSTER XO DUMPLINGS (Steamed lobster-filled dumplings with chili-soy vinaigrette and green onion),
the BOURBON PEACH GLAZED ARCTIC CHAR (Seared Arctic char fillet with a bourbon peach glaze served over a savory corn pudding and bacon braised greens.),
the Fish Sticks with Fries,

and the VANILLA BEAN CRÈME BRÛLÉE (Sweet vanilla bean custard with caramelized sugar
topped with whipped cream and seasonal berries.) for dessert.

Unfortunately, the dumplings weren't done very well, the vinaigrette being too sour and the lobster meat being too grainy. The dessert was way too solid and heavy for our liking too. The fish thankfully was not bad, especially the little one's food. Overall, not too bad, but definitely staying away from Asian fare and dessert from this place.
