Today, we got takeout from Village Pizza in Shrewsbury, this time getting the Tomato Pizza.
Pretty good from this place as always. This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.

February 23rd 2020: Worcester Public Market, Worcester

getting the Basil Rigatoni (pomodoro, basil, young pecorino) from Pasta Maniand the Build It Yourself Burger with Beyond Burger, Tomatoes, Avocado, fried onion strings and pineapple from New England Burger Bah,
Looking fancy, but nothing special overall.

February 19th 2020: Yet Another Company Lunch at Via Italian Table, Worcester
Today, we had a company lunch for a colleague who is leaving the department at Via Italian Table in Worcester. This time, we got the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for appetizers,
and I got the Chicken Orzo Soup
and the Grilled Prime Bistro Steak (red wine braised Tuscan potatoes, garlicky spinach and pepperonata).
The soup was just so-so, and the flavor of the steak was not really to my liking either, because of the peppers.

Not bad, but nothing extraordinary.

February 15th 2020: Eating Out in Leominster
Today while at the Mall at Whitney Field in Leominster, we decided to have lunch at the food court here, getting a pizza from Primo Pizzeria,
and Orange Chicken and Lo Mein from Golden Wok.
Nothing special from either place. For dinner, we decided to give the little one a treat after his fall at the McDonald's at 340 New Lancaster Road in town and ER visit to the Leominster campus of the UMass Memorial Hospital,
getting the Small Fries, the Chicken McNuggets, the McChicken and the Chicken McGriddle.
Nothing special, but at least my little one enjoyed his meal.

February 14th 2020: 435 Bar and Grille, Leominster
Today for dinner, we decided to check out the 435 Bar and Grille in Leominster, a pretty nice restaurant located within an old mill.
We got the Margherita Pappardelle (sauteed chicken, grape tomatoes, baby spinach, fresh basil & oregano in a light garlic butter sauce topped with fresh mozzarella),
the Baked Stuffed Haddock (crab stuffed filet of haddock finished in a lemon butter sauce served with mashed potatoes & asparagus)
and the Shepherds Pie Stuffed Acorn Squash (roasted acorn squash stuffed with ground beef, onions, celery, carrots & peas topped with parmesan mashed potatoes).
The shepherd's pie was an interesting concept, bu overall, all the dishes were just so-so. Don't think I want to come back again, At least they had complimentary chocolate covered strawberries at the end though.

February 12th 2020: Woosta Pizza, Worcester
Today for lunch, it was more pizza takeout from Woosta Pizza in Worcester, which is a surprisingly roomy restaurant instead of a hole in the wall takeout place.
I got the Philly Steak & Cheese (Shaved Porterhouse steak, cheddar cheese, American cheese, salt and black pepper. White pizza),
which was sadly really bland. Definitely not coming back again.
