February 4th 2021: Work Dinner from El-Basha, Worcester

 Working late today, we decided to get takeout from El-Basha, a Mediterranean restaurant in Worcester I have been to a few times before I started this blog. I don't remember it being this fancy inside.

I got the Seafood Mixed Grill ( Swordfish, salmon,and shrimp) and Homus Blahme (Served with sautéed ground meat).

The hummus was pretty good especially with the ground meat, although the fish was really dry in the main dish. Thankfully the shrimp was smoky flavored.

February 3rd 2021: KFC and Tavern in the Square, Shrewsbury

 Today, we were craving for some fried chicken, and the KFC in Shrewsbury was the obvious choice, from which we gor the 4 Piece Combo.

Got to have some fast food once in a while.

For dinner, I had to work late again, so we got takeout from Tavern in the Square in Shrewsbury, getting the Bayou Chicken Pasta (spicy blackened chicken, sweet corn, jalapeño, bacon, parmesan cream)

and the BBQ Chicken Pizza (bbq sauce, sharp provolone, fire roasted corn, bacon, onion jam).

The pasta was excellent, especially with its sauce, although the pizza was just alright, especially because of the onions.

January 29th 2021: Takeout from Applebee's, Worcester

 We decided to get takeout from the Applebee's in Worcester today, getting the FIESTA LIME Shrimp (Grilled Shrimp glazed with zesty lime sauce and drizzled with tangy Mexi-ranch is smothered with a rich blend of Cheddar cheeses on a bed of crispy tortilla strips. Served with Spanish rice and house-made pico de gallo).

Just alright by me, nothing special.

January 25th 2021: Work Dinner from Thai Place, Shrewsbury

 Working late again today, we got dinner, this time from Thai Place in Shrewsbury, where I got the Yum Nuea (Tossed Beef Salad, The meat is barbequed then tossed with a delicious mixture of sweet, sesame-inspired smokey hot sauce and fresh vegetables.)

Good flavor, and lots of meat.

January 21st 2021: Work Dinner from Woo Bar and Grille, Worcester

 Working late today, we decided to get dinner from Woo Bar and Grille in Worcester, from which I got the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo (Tender grilled chicken served with broccoli florets in a creamy garlic alfredo sauce with linguini). 

 Not bad, and a lot of leftovers to bring home.

January 15th 2021: Work Dinner from Jimmy's Tavern, Shrewsbury

 Today, I had to work late, so we got dinner from Jimmy's Tavern in Shrewsbury. I got the Crusted Blue Burger (Blue cheese, mushrooms & buffalo sauce),

Pretty good flavors as always from this place.

January 1st 2021: Takeout from Penang, Boston

 Today, we got takeout for the family from Penang in Boston. Among other things, we got the Penang House Special Lobster (Lobster cooked with spicy grounded dried shrimp in authentic sauce. Hot and spicy.),

and the Bak Kut Teh (Chinese herbs, pig feet, stomach, rib and fatty pork).

The lobster was not too bad, although the herb taste of the soup was a little strong for our liking. Overall, a great meal with the family.
