We decided to have dinner tonight at Chez Siam, a nice Thai restaurant in Marlborough.
We got the Fish Chowder Thai Style (Chowder fish in a coconut milk based soup, served with diced potatoes, mushrooms and seasoned with lime juice and Thai herbs),
the Chez Siam Roast Duck (Young tender duckling marinated with honey and spices then roasted to perfection, served on a bed of stir fried spinach and sweet pickle ginger)
and the Coconut Custard for dessert.
The soup was a little on the salty side, but still not bad. The duck was delicious, the ginger an interesting but great touch to the dish presented in a fish plate. The custard was tasty as well, with the soft custard layer at the bottom, with no coconut flavor to put me off. Overall, a really good Thai restaurant in Marlborough.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
