We were at the Spirit of Shrewsbury again today, and watched the parade as it arrived at Oak Middle School,
but once the food started cooking under the tent,
it was going around to get everything we could including wings from Hooters, ravioli from Tavolino, pulled pork from Red Heat Tavern, burgers from Mooyah, gyro from The Simple Greek, and baked beans from Texas Roadhouse. Pretty good day out with family.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.

September 29th 2018: The Spirit of Shrewsbury
The Spirit of Shrewsbury festival was going on this weekend, but by the time we went, part of it was pretty much over, but thankfully the music festival wasn't,
and we got to check out the Oak Middle School for a bit too.
Thankfully, the food festival will be tomorrow. We are definitely going for that.

September 28th 2018: Meals in Natick and Framingham
While at the Natick Mall tonight, we decided to grab a bite at Melt Gelato and Crepe Cafe, which I have eaten at a few times in the past. This time around, we got the Pulled Pork Panini special.
Not too bad, if not for the onions.
Next, I went to C'mondz Restaurant nearby in Framingham. This place used to be Goody's Pizza, which I visited once a long time ago. Definitely looks better now.
I got the Pink Lady Avo Toast Delight,
The Smoke Sausage Skillet (smoke sausage, shrimp, chicken buttered combo mixed with cauliflower)
and the Apple Tarte (Tarte Aux Pommes) for dessert.
Decent presentation, but the food was just alright in my opinion. The other patrons seemed to like the food a lot though.

September 23rd 2018: Apple Picking at Honey Pot Hill Orchards, Stow
After a day of picking apples and pears at Honey Pot Hill Orchards in Stow,
and enjoying their delicious apple cider and donuts which are actually better than Tougas,
we got pizzas from Village Pizza in Shrewsbury for lunch, getting the Village Special and a Sausage and Mushroom Pizza.
Pretty good as always from this place.

September 17th 2018: Unwanted Food from Papa Gino's, Shrewsbury
My colleague did not want the Sweet Teriyaki Chicken Tenders (breaded and lightly spiced all white meat chicken breast filets) she got from the Papa Gino's in Shrewsbury, so she gave them to me instead.
Can see why she did not want them. Had to use other sauces to make up for the taste.

September 16th 2018: Checking Out the Historical Society in Northborough
Today, I headed to Northborough
to check out the Historical Society, located within an old baptist church.
The pipe organ is pretty much the highlight of the place.

September 15th 2018: Checking Out the Sawin Museum, Dover
Today, I decided to go check out the Sawin Museum in the town of Dover.
Definitely one of the better museums I have been to, despite the small size.
From here, I headed to the town of Dedham, getting a Steak and Cheese Quesadilla
from Pancho's Taqueria, a Mexican cafe in the downtown area.
Not bad actually, but nothing special really.
Next, I went for some Thai food at Somtum Modern Thai Cuisine, located in the West Roxbury area of Boston.
I got the Beef Avocado Curry (sauteed avocado, tomato, onion, carrot and red green pepper in a coconut red curry sauce),
which came with Steamed Gyoza (Chicken dumplings served with sweet ginger sauce).
The curry was just typical with avocado added in, while the dumplings were just alright as well. Moreover, way too Americanized. A disappointing day for eating, to say the least.
