April 30th 2024: Fast and Slow Food in Worcester

 Today, we had lunch at the new Chick Fil-A in Worcester,

getting the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (A boneless breast of chicken seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, freshly breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips), Chick-fil-A® Nuggets (Bite-sized pieces of boneless chicken breast, seasoned to perfection, freshly breaded and pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil), Chick-n-Strips (Boneless chicken tenders seasoned to perfection, freshly breaded and pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil.),  Mac & Cheese (A classic macaroni and cheese recipe featuring a special blend of cheeses including Parmesan, Cheddar, and Romano. Baked in-restaurant to form a crispy top layer of baked cheese.)
Really good chicken I must say, not soggy at all.

For dinner, we went nearby to Oak Barrel Tavern in town,
this time getting the Oven Roasted Salmon (North Atlantic salmon baked with garlic butter. Served with Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Jasmine Rice)
and the Kids Fish and Chips (Kids sized fried haddock filet served with fries and tartar sauce).

Really good again from this place, especially the crisp fish filet.
