Heading into Manhattan NY today,
we decided to grab a quick bite at the
Broad Nosh Bagels location at 314 West 58th Street,
getting the Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese.
Nothing special really.
From here, we headed into the Bronx,
taking a break at nearby Chinese restaurant
Zhongzhong Noodles for lunch,
getting the TOMATO & SLICED BEEF NOODLE
the SPICY WONTON IN RED CHILI,
the Chicken and Basil Dumplings and Shrimp and Corn Dumplings.
Pretty good flavors. Can see why they have a few locations in the NYC area.
Done with museums for the day, we headed to our hotel for the day in North Hempstead NY,
|
Roslyn Pond, 1330 Old Northern Boulevard |
at
The Roslyn, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Pretty nice small hotel.
For dinner, we stayed at the hotel restaurant,
Atlas New World Bistro, a high end place which has an Indian take to it.
We got the Grilled Branzino (roasted carrots, basil chimichurri),
the Bombay Chicken Pulao (aromatic layered dish of chicken and rice with crispy onions, mint and cilantro, served with raita)
and the Eton Mess (strawberry, Meringue Cookies, Rocotta Whipped Cream, Berry Compote).
Pretty good I must say for a small town restaurant. But then again, this is the Hamptons.
