Today, we decided to head into Niantic, a beach area in East Lyme CT,
Niantic Baptist Church
Saint Agnes Church
Saint John's Episcopal Church
checking out the Niantic Children's Museum.
From here, we headed to Tony D's Craft Creamery nearby, getting the For the Luv of Chocolate flavor.Somehow, it felt a little powdery to me, but at least the little one loved it. From here, we continued down Main Street,
Charter Oak Federal Credit Union
Old Niantic Bay Apartments, 304 to 308 Main Street
Morton House, 215 Main Street
and the Butterfly Lemonade.
Not bad, especially with the cranberry sauce on the side.
From here, we headed to the beach, and along the way we chanced upon an event going on at Gumdrops & Lollipops Candy & Ice Cream,
where we managed to get free strawberryand raspberry sorbet ice cream.
where there is the Niantic Bay Boardwalk on the left, leading to Niantic Bay Beach at the other end,
and McCook Point Park on the right,
which has its own beach as well.
A perfect day spent in Niantic, and to think that I had thought we would have nothing much to do today.
