August 3rd 2025: Vietnamese Food and Desert in Dorchester

 Today, while in the Dorchester area of Boston, we decided to have lunch at Pho Le, this time getting the Da Chanh Muoi (Salted Limeade),

the Banh Beo (Steamed Rice Cakes, Topped with minced shrimp, fried shallots, and scallion oil. Served with nước mắm.)
and the Bánh Hỏi Chạo Tôm (Steamed Vermicelli with Shrimp Paste, Grilled shrimp paste on sugar cane and steamed thin vermicelli topped with scallions and roasted peanuts.)
Pretty authentic flavors from this place as always.

For dessert, we headed down the road to Akoko Cafe, this time getting the Rau Ma Dau Xanh Sua Dua.

Glad we accomplished our goal today of getting a microphone speaker from My Xuyen, and good food too.
