September 19th 2026: Worcester Night Market, Worcester

Today, we started out by checking out the new Indian restaurant in Westborough, Chowrastha. It was to our surprise that this place is more cafeteria style than the usual Indian restaurants, or the Uno's it was before.

We got the Mango Lassi,
the Goat Dum Biryani,

the Garlic Naan and Butter Chicken Masala.
really tasty for a takeout place.

The first ever Worcester Night Market was really crowded,
so we decided to skip out and head to Oishi Japanese Restaurant nearby, which has moved from 8 Franklin Street to a bigger space since the last time I visited. Nicer now, I must say.

We got the Kids Tray (California roll (8pcs, Crab stick, avocado, cucumber, and tobiko), mango roll (8pcs), avocado roll (6pcs), sweet potato roll (6pcs), spicy shrimp tempura roll (5pcs, Shrimp tempura, tobiko, cucumber, and avocado), crab roll (6pcs), and inari sushi (4pcs, sweetened bean curd)),
which was good enough to feed a family of 3. Perhaps we will revisit the night market in a few year's time when it is less crowded.
