July 19th 2019: Discovery Museum, Acton

Our first stop today was at the Bigelow Free Public Library in the town of Clinton to pick up a museum pass. Pretty old inside.

Our next stop was the Discovery Museum in Acton. This place has been totally renovated since the last time I was here.

A pity our little one did not really know how to interact with the exhibits.

For dinner, we headed into Arlington to Sabzi, a Mediterranean restaurant serving Persian cuisine.

We got the Doogh (non carbonated mint flavored yogurt drink),

The Mast-o Khiar (yogurt and cucumber dip)

And the Persepolis (Combination of one Kubideh (select ground beef combined with sumac, onion and house seasoning) and one Jujeh Barg (saffron and citrus marinated medallions of chicken breast) skewer.

Unfortunately none of the food was to my liking, the drink too sour, the dip too bland, the food just meh, although my other half thought the food was delicious.

For dessert, we decided to check out Bubble Nation nearby,

getting the Match Red Bean Pudding
and the Barista's Feast (matcha slushy with red bean).
The dessert was not bad, although we have realized that the pudding was the same as the one we had at Daikanyama in Newton, coming from SAMA in Boston.

July 18th 2019: Free After 3 at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Boylston

With free admission after 3pm on Thursdays at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, we decided to go check it out today after work.

We also took the chance to check out the cafe here, Farmer and the Fork, which usually needs admission to visit.

I got the Almond Pistachio Bar (shortbread crust topped with tart raspberry jam, crumble topping and dark chocolate)
which was actually pretty good. Will come back to try out their salads.

July 14th 2019: Picking All Kinds of Fruit at Parlee Farms, Tyngborough

This morning, we went to Parlee Farms in Tyngborough to pick all kinds of fruit,
namely cherries, blueberries

and strawberries,

and also got to try their Blueberry Crumble Bar, Blueberry Bread,
Apple Cider Donuts, which were the absolute best ones I have had to date,
and Apple Cider Slush.
A really big farm, where we had to sit the hayrides just to get to some of the picking places.
Absolutely fun day of fruit picking to say the least. Definitely better than Tougas.
