We visited St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester for the first time today, and I have to say it is one of the nicest looking hospitals I have ever been to, complete with waterfalls and trees inside the building.
We decided to get food from the cafeteria style place City Square Cafe,
which was just alright but not filling enough, so I got a BBQ Chicken Pizza from Vincent's Pizza and Pasta as well.
Decent, but perhaps not worth 3 bucks.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.

February 26th 2017: Buffet Lunch at Godavari, Framingham
On the way home today, we decided to try out the new Indian restaurant in Framingham, Godavari, which has taken the place of Acapulco's, which I visited once before. Pretty nice decor to say the least.
The lunch buffet had a lot of interesting and delicious stuff, including the Godavari Annam (white rice), Hawai Fried Rice (pineapple and mushroom), Baby Corn 65, Andhra Aloo, Badam Milk,
Modi Masala Chai, Tomato Rasam, Chennai Street Sambar, Aloo Gobi Mutter, Murugaya Kara Kuzhambu, Naan, Coconut Utthapam, Malai Paneer, Drumstick Daal, Rava Idly, Tindoora Poriyal, Kosta Kurd Rice, Sridevi Fruit Custard, Poornalu, Paal Rice Payasam, Old City Veg Dum Biryani, Lucknow Shahi Kabab, Madras Fish Fry, Anjamma Goat Paya, Murgh Rogan Josh, Haleem and Prawn Balchao. Definitely one of the best buffets I have had to date.

February 25th 2017: Dessert in Boston, Sandwich in Saugus
We were in the Dorchester area of Boston today, and decided to check out the new Vietnamese dessert place in The area, Coco Leaf. Nice relaxed cafe setting, to say the least.
We got a Coconut Cream Puff
And the CocoLeaf (Signature pandan jelly, red and white beans, hot luu, Mung Bean with coconut milk, coconut meat, chia seed).
The cream puff was exceptional, the cream tasting just like kaya. The dessert was excellent as well. Finally, an alternative to Yocha in Quincy.
Later in the day, we were at the Square One Mall in Saugus, and decided to try out the Charleys Philly Steaks here, getting the Original Lemonade,
the Philly Cheese Steak (steak, grilled onion, green peppers, mushrooms and white American)
and the Original Fries.
The drink was a tad too sweet, while the sandwich was a little on the bland side. Only the fries were somewhat decent. Says a lot about this place.

February 24th 2017: A Quick Bite from Fiddler ' s Green Pub and Restaurant, Worcester
Today after work, I decided to grab a quick bite from Fiddler's Green Pub and Restaurant, a somewhat decent looking dive bar in a crappy part of Worcester.
I got the Coconut Shrimp with Orange Ginger Sauce,
Which was actually pretty good, especially for an Irish Pub.

February 23rd 2017: Meals in Worcester
After work today, I decided to get a quick bite at The Pint, a new dive bar located along Shrewsbury Street in Worcester,
Getting the Hawaiian Panini, which had pineapples, ham, cheese and triyaki sauce).
Pretty good actually for a dive bar.
Next, it was pizza time at Blackstone Fresh Way Pizza, getting the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Pizza.
Not too bad, but nothing special.

February 22nd 2017: A Quick Bite at Breen's Cafe, Worcester
I was still hungry after lunch today, so I decided to grab a bite from Breen's Cafe, an Irish dive bar in Worcester, getting the Rachael (Pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, Russian Dressing).
Pretty delicious, although this place only accepts cash.

February 20th 2017: Dinner at Applebee's, Northborough
We had dinner at the new Applebee's in Northborough tonight, getting the Buffalo Boneless Wings (Lightly breaded, tender chunks of boneless chicken),
the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp (Cajun-seasoned chicken breast grilled and served on a sizzling skillet with blackened seasoned shrimp, garlic and thyme. Served with fried red potatoes and sautéed onions and mushrooms)
and the 1/2 Rack of Baby Back Ribs, which came with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli.
The wings and ribs were pretty good, and the chicken was perfectly cooked as well. Good deal for just 30 bucks overall.

February 15th 2017: Legal Seafoods at the Airport
We were waiting for our flight to Florida this morning at the Boston Logan Airport, and decided to get a Green Tea Latte at Peet's Coffee and Tea.
And the Rhode Island Red Clam Chowder from Legal Seafoods.
The latte was pretty bitter, but thankfully the soup was not too bad, although the Clam felt a little dry.
Good start to our vacation though.

February 14th 2017: Vietnamese Dinner at Pho Bistro, Malden
We had dinner tonight at Pho Bistro, a Vietnamese place in Malden that used to be Pho Hoa, which I visited several times in the past, and has the exact same decor.
We got the Bun Bo Hue Duoi Bo (Hue Style Noodle Soup with Oxtail)
And the Pho Ap Chao (Crispy Noodles, pan fried pho noodles with Egg till Crispy, then topped with seafood).
The Pho was interesting as it was made to look like Korean pancakes, and not too bad in terms of flavour as well, although the soup was just alright. Overall though, not one of the better Vietnamese places I have been to, despite the ambience.

February 12th 2017: Breakfast at The Bistro, Westborough
Today, we had breakfast at The Bistro, a cafe in Westborough, where I have been to in the past for dessert, but never for breakfast.
We got the Southern Benedict (pulled pork, poached eggs, served on grilled English muffin, topped with hollandaise, served with home fries)
and the Steak Quesadilla Wrap (Grilled steak, topped with cheddar cheese, sour cream, avocado and pico de gallo).
The eggs were not bad, as was the quesadilla, if not for the onions in them. Pretty good meal overall though.

February 11th 2017: Quick Bite from Dim Sum Cafe, Medford
We were in Medford today, and decided to grab a quick bite from Dim Sum Cafe, which is actually a small Chinese takeout place at 679 Fellsway West in town that does a little dum sum as well, of which we decided to get the Japanese Dumplings.
Nothing special though.

February 5th 2017: Breakfast and Cake in Cambridge, Pizza in Malden
We started out this morning in Cambridge, finally being able to try out Cafe Luna, a popular brunch place in town where we were lucky enough to get a seat immediately upon entry.
We got the Steak and Lobster BLT Benedict (pepper crusted sirloin steak, lobster, avocado, grilled avocado, grilled tomato and bacon with poached eggs), which was simply excellent.
Can see why this place, though small, is so popular.
We then went to get a birthday cake for our parents from Paris Baguette nearby, getting the Mini Sponge Cake,
which was definitely not a disappointment as expected from this bakery.
For the SuperBowl, we got pizza from Donimo's Place in Malden, which is close to the Town Line Luxury Lanes bowling alley.
We got the Mexicana Pizza (Buffalo grilled chicken, jalapenos, red onions, and mozzarella cheese),
the Shrimp Scampi Pizza (Shrimp, crushed garlic, tomatoes, mozzarella, and white sauce)
and the Clam Strips.
The clams were a little rubbery, while the onions in the Mexicana kept getting in the way. Thankfully, the shrimp was pretty good. The Patriots looked like they were sure to lose when I left for home, but as it turned out, they somehow managed to turn the game around, winning it in overtime. Guess the day ended well overall.

February 4th 2017: Birthday Dinner at Exchange Street Bistro, Malden
We celebrated our parents' birthdays at Exchange Street Bistro in Malden today. It was a really busy night, so it was a good thing we had made reservations beforehand. As always, we got the ESB Signature Tapas Plate,
the Roasted Chicken (sweet potato mash, green beans, almonds, dried cranberries, mushrooms, chicken), the Lamb Chops (white bean ragout, winter greens, turnips, cipollini onions, sun dried tomatoes, red wine demi), the Grilled Salmon (pumpkin risotto, brussel sprouts, house bacon, dried cranberries, beurre blanc) and the Seared Diver Scallops (carrot puree, shaved brussels sprouts, house bacon, cauliflower, beluga lentils, arugula and basil pesto).
Everything was delicious as always, especially the chicken which was perfectly cooked.
For dessert, we got the Brownie Sundae (ice cream, candied walnuts, caramel and chocolate sauce) and NY Style Cheesecake (blueberry compote, whipped cream), which came topped with candles for our parents.
Simply excellent, especially the different textures and flavors in the sundae.
Overall, yet another perfect meal at this place, minus the noise.

February 3rd 2017: Dinner at Grafton Grill, Grafton
We decided to have dinner tonight at the Grafton Grill, a new bar restaurant in the town of Grafton which has taken the place of the Bridge Street Bistro, which I had been to once in the past. Definitely better looking this time around, with an interesting logo looking like Gucci's. We got the Valentine's Day Sangria (Chloe Rose, Peachtree, Rum, Orange Juice, garnished with strawberries and apples) for a drink,
which was really good and strawberry flavored.
For appetizers, we got the Fried Green Tomatoes (candied bourbon bacon, pimento cheese, house made BBQ sauce),
which were really crispy and flavorful, even with the cheese and sauce.
The Sweet Potato Salmon (salmon encrusted with sweet potato in a dijon mustard glaze, served with risotto and asparagus) was perfectly cooked as well, going well with the mustard and risotto components of the dish, although they failed to cut off the woody ends of the asparagus.
The only disappointment of the night was the Dessert Pizza (strawberries and nutella),
which really looked out of place with the rest of the meal, and tasted as much.
Oh well, definitely will come back again, minus the dessert.
