We had a company lunch at The Sole Proprietor in Worcester today, starting off with rounds of Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail,
Bruschetta and Crab Stuffed Crimini Mushrooms (CRIMINI MUSHROOM STUFFED WITH HERB GARLIC CREAM CHEESE AND CRAB MEAT. OVEN BAKED WITH SPICED RITZ CRUMBS AND A ROASTED RED PEPPER VINAIGRETTE FINISHED WITH SHAVED PARMESAN CHEESE) for appetizers.
Pretty good start to a free meal. For myself, I got the Creamy Chicken Veggie Soup,
And the Pesto Scallops and Shrimp (pan seared scallops and gulf shrimp, served over linguine and oven roasted tomatoes in a pumpkin seed pesto cream sauce).
These did not disappoint, and the dessert was a choice of your fill of Tiramisu (ITALIAN STYLE SOFT CHEESE CAKE WITH MASCARPONE CHEESE AND LADY FINGERS SOAKED IN RUM AND COFFEE SERVED WITH CHOCOLATE SAUCE.), Brownie Cake and Cannoli.
Fantastic meal as always at this place, and free to boot.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
