September 12th 2021: Stoneforge Tavern, Raynham

Today, while in the town of Raynham, we decided to have lunch at Stoneforge Tavern, a pretty nice bar restaurant in town which has a linked restaurant right next door (Stoneforge Publick House), and another location in Easton.

We got the Red Sangria (Blends of wine, cordials, brandy, fruit juices, & fruit), which i did not get to try,

the N.E. Clam Chowder,

the Truffle Butter Scallops (seared scallops, truffle butter cream sauce, shitake mushroom bacon hash),

which came with the House Salad (house blend lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, onions, balsamic vinaigrette),

the Rattlesnake Pasta (chicken, shrimp, tomatoes, spinach, Cajun cream sauce, penne) and  French Fries,

and the Big Cheese Brulee (a creamy brulee in a hand-fried cheesecake) for dessert.

The soup was pretty good, and the truffle flavored hash was delicious with the scallops. The pasta was not bad too, although a little salty at times. Unfortunately, the dessert was a downer, being a little hard and a tad sweet. Overall though, a really good meal here.
