Today, Restaurant Week was spent at Via Italian Table in Worcester, this time getting the SHRIMP SCAMPI (pan seared shrimp tossed with grape tomatoes, parsley, and garlic in a white wine lemon butter sauce, served over spaghetti),
the BERKSHIRE PORK OSSO BUCO (braised for hours until fall off the bone tender, served over herbed-romano polenta with a roasted red pepper sauce and gremolata),
the BOLOGNESE ARANCINI (fried risotto balls with Bolognese stuffing)and the Centorri Moscato di Pavia, IGT Lombardy, IT, 2020.The drink was pretty good, the arancini crispy and not too sour, while the pork was tender as desribed, and the pasta tasty with fresh crisp shrimp. Another excellent meal here to say the least.
