August 9th 2022: Restaurant Week at Sole Proprietor, Worcester

Today, we decided to bring the family out to dinner at the Sole Proprietor in Worcester,

this time getting the Chateau La Freynelle, Bordeaux, 2020,

the BANG BANG BROCCOLI (LIGHTLY FRIED BABY BROCCOLI TOSSED IN A SPICY SWEET THAI CHILI SAUCE.),
the TUNA POKE (DICED YELLOWFIN TUNA, AVOCADO, SCALLIONS AND CILANTRO IN AN ASIAN STYLE SAUCE. SERVED ON CRISPY FRIED WONTONS.),
the CUP CLAM CHOWDER,

the Caesar Salad,
the NEW YORK SIRLOIN (Twelve ounces of well-marbled and closely trimmed New York Sirloin, served with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus topped with demi glace.),
the HALIBUT (HAZELNUT AND PANKO ENCRUSTED HALIBUT TOPPED WITH A MANGO SAUCE SERVED WITH JASMINE RICE AND SAUTÈED GREEN BEANS.)
and the SESAME TROUT (PAN SEARED TROUT OVER MASHED POTATOES AND SAUTÈED BROCOLINI, TOPPED WITH A SESAME AIOLI.).
Really good food as always, especially the crispness of the trout skin and the broccoli, as well as the anchovies which came with the salad, which were fresh and not too salty. The only disappointment was the steak, which was on the dry side. Guess we should stick to the seafood.
