June 30th 2024: Mini-Golf at Trombetta's Farm, Marlborough

 Today, we decided to play some mini-golf at Trombetta's Farm in Marlborough.

which is covered, but still stifling in this heat. As a result, we got some ice cream from the same place, getting the M&Ms flavor. 

Not bad for a short time of fun.

Jun 29th 2024: Spending Time in the Millennium Park Area of Boston

 Today, we decided to have lunch at Banh Mi Oi, a Vietnamese takeout place in the West Roxbury area of Boston,

We got the Cafe Sua Da |Viet Latte (vietnamese coffee beans filtered through the traditional phin, shake with condensed milk, served iced.)

the Banh Mi Lemongrass Steak (Vietnamese baguette sandwich, spread of house made egg yolk aioli, pickled medley, sliced cucumber, cilantro, jalapeno and lemongrass steak.)

and the PHo Well Done Brisket (Rice noodles and welldone brisket served with a strong and aromatic beef broth, garnished with scallions, cilantro with a side of bean sprout, jalapeno, basil, lime and our Pho sauce).

Not bad overall, but pretty small place.

From here, we headed to the Millennium Park area,

going on a hike into the Brook Farm Historic Site area, where the path we took is shown below in pink.

Nothing much to see in this area though.

Need to check out the other water body in this area.

June 28th 2024: Quick Bites in Westborough and Worcester

 Today, after getting a Hamburger Kid's Meal and a McCafé Caramel Frappé with Caramel Drizzle from the McDonald's in Westborough,

I decided to get a bite from The Shack, a takeout place serving Indian food in Worcester,

getting the Lamb Kati Roll.

Not bad for a takeout place.

June 26th 2024: Lunch in Northborough, Dinner in Milford

 Today, while in Northborough, we decided to get takeout from Monti's Pizza Plus in Northborough, this time getting the FRESH TOMATO & GARLIC pizza,

a Cheese Pizza,

the Spicy Curley Fries,

the Pastrami and Swiss Panini

the Lasagna

the Pasta with Eggplant

and the CHICKEN & BROCCOLI ALFREDO.

Later, we were in Milford at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston - Milford,

and decided to have dinner at the restaurant here, Legends Sports Bar and Grille. Not sure if it is affiliated with the restaurant of the same name in Fitchburg.

We got the Hot Dog and Fries

and the Shrimp Scampi (sauteed shrimp over fettucine, aged Parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes, fresh baby spinach, lemon, and Garlic white wine broth. Served with Garlic Bread).

Pretty good, and my little one finished the entire hot dog for once without leaving any for me.

June 23rd 2024: Flip Circus, Marlborough

Today, we had tickets for Flip Circus, held on the parking lot of Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough.

Surprisingly good performances I must say, 

especially the unicyclist.

From here, we headed to Saffron Indian Restaurant and Bar, a new Indian restaurant in town replacing the Westender, which I visited once in the past. Nice decor now.

We got the Onion Kulcha

and the Goat Chetinadu (coconut based sauce cooked with South Indian spices).

Pretty good, if not for the onions in the naan.

June 22nd 2024: A Day of Birthdays

 Today, we started out with a birthday party at Fun and Games, an arcade in Framingham.

Glad my little one had his first Lasertag experience here.

From here, we headed to the SEACMA Asian Festival, 

held at Worcester State University in Worcester.

Some pretty good performances today,

Especially the Tinikling and Binasuan dances by the Filipinos.

Unfortunately, we had to leave early for another birthday party, which ended up in the garage due to the rain. Glad my little one had a fun time though.
