Today, I had dinner with colleagues at Havana Nights Restaurant and Lounge, a Cuban bar restaurant in Worcester.
We had the Bacon Wrapped Maduros (maduros wrapped in bacon and served with guava reduction and bechamel),the Ropa Vieja (A Cuban classic of slow-simmered, tender shredded beef in a rich, flavorful sauce with peppers, onions, and garlic. Served with fluffy white rice and sweet plantains)
the Guava BBQ Chicken (stick broiled guava barbecue chicken thighs, served with maduro and Yucca Fries)
and the Mojo Roasted Pork (tender pork roasted to perfection in the classic cuban style, all drenched in a tangy, citrusy mojo sauce served with fragrant moro rice and tender mojo yucca)
Really delicious Cuban flavors. Will definitely be back for more. We ended the day across the road at Mia Cane Juicery and Acai Bar, with me getting a Wholly Lychee (lychee, strawberry).
Really good, although we were so engrossed trying to figure out the Tangram puzzles that I only really drank it after I got home.
