Today, our first stop was in Granby CT,

| Giddy Up to Granby: Beauty |
for a semi-hike at Enders State Forest to find the Enders Falls, the path we took being shown below in pink.
which were absolutely beautiful today.
For lunch, we went to Tiger Belly Ramen and Sushi Bar in town, which we had to enter via a pretty nondescript side door.We got the 9 SPICE (crispy chicken flamed torched in special Szechuan spice blend, chilli peppers and cilantro),
the Butterfly Flower Lemonade (the vibrant blue and purple hues of the Butterfly pea flower from Southeastern Asia blended with organic lemonade)
The Darkness Ramen (tonkotsu style pork broth, craft noodles and 25+ hour tonkotsu broth topped with flame blistered pork belly, fried garlic, Ajitama cured egg, bean sprouts, green onions, bamboo shoots, kikurage earwood mushroom finished with black garlic oil),
the Pho and Brisket (with fresh rice noodle, Vietnamese 16th hour beef bone broth served with our low and slow 12 hour beef brisket. Adorned with cilantro, basil, bean sprouts and green onions)The Darkness Ramen (tonkotsu style pork broth, craft noodles and 25+ hour tonkotsu broth topped with flame blistered pork belly, fried garlic, Ajitama cured egg, bean sprouts, green onions, bamboo shoots, kikurage earwood mushroom finished with black garlic oil),
Pretty good, especially the crispy wings, although the flavors felt more Chinese than Japanese.
From here, we headed into Westfield MA
| Amelia Park Arena |
Small place, with some pretty interesting hands-on stuff. Glad the little one had lots of fun here.
With that, an end to a day of waterfalls and children's museums.
