July 20th 2025: Halibut Point State Park, Rockport

Today, we started out in Rockport,

Old Granite Pier,
99 Wharf Road

Back Beach,
Beach Street and Smith Street
Edward Peterson Square,
Beach Street and Smith Street
Saint Joachim Catholic Church,
56 Broadway Avenue

Rockport Community House

going on a hike at Halibut Point State Park. The path we took here to get to the various sites are shown below in pink.
We first headed to the quarry side with nice views,

then on to the visitor center,

which had a tower with a series of ladder steps to climb.

After leaving the tower, we headed around to the other side of the quarry

to get to the top of the grout pile and its views.

After heading down to the rocks below,

we headed towards "The Rocks",

before finally ending our hike.

From here, we headed back into town, grabbing a Lobster Roll (Hand Shucked Lobster Meat Served on a Grilled Bonny Breads NE Bun, HOT with butter)
and a Clam Chowder (House-Made Thick and Creamy New England Style Chowder)
from Roy Moore Lobster Company.

We then went to the Bean and Leaf Cafe nearby,

getting a Hazelnut Latte,
and the affiliated The Ice Cream Store next door,

Getting the Cookies and Cream flavor.
For dinner, we were in Burlington at H Mart, getting a Miso Ramen from San Soo Kap San Sushi
and the Deagoo Maewoontang (Cod fish) from Woojeon Restaurant.
The ramen was too salty, and the fish had too many bones. Oh well, an otherwise good day spent in Rockport though.
