July 4th 2025: Checking Out Water Bodies in Oxford and Sutton

 Today, after checking out several places in Oxford,

Stump Pond,
300 Sutton Avenue

Hudson Pond,
60 Hudson Road

We went on a hike to find Thompson Pond and Town Farm Pond in Sutton, which is on a side trail from the Mid-State Trail. The path we took here from 119 Town Farm Road is shown below in pink.

Thompson Pond is pretty much a wetland now,

although Town Farm Pond was not bad to look at.

Overall, a pretty good day for checking out water bodies in Sutton and Oxford.
