July 12th 2026: Noodles in Boston and Somerville

Today, we started out in Boston,

Old Chadwick Leadworks Building,
184 High Street

Harbor Way
getting brunch from Mr. Dooley's Boston, an Irish bar in the Financial District area,

with the Irish Eggs Benedict (Toasted English Muffin, Irish Bacon, 2 Poached Eggs, Hollandaise Sauce served with Home Fries).

Nothing special here though.

Later, while in the Seaport area, we decided to check out Lanner Noodles and Bar, a Chinese pulled noodle place,
getting the Braised Beef Noodle Soup (beef broth, soy braised beef chunks)
and the Beef Rib Chili Oil Noodles (fragrant chili oil, fresh garlic, hearty beef bone).

A little on the salty side, and the meat was not very tender either. Overall, not one of the better noodle places we have been to.

For dinner, we were in Somerville,
Kenney Park
checking out Tsurumen 1000, a ramen place in town.
We got the Spicy Pork Shoyu,
the Shio Classic
and the Paitan.
Really tasty, especially the rich flavor of the creamy Paitan broth. Definitely better than lunch for sure.
