October 11th 2022: Second Time at Landing at Hudson Mills, Hudson

Today, I decided to try my luck again to visit the Hudson Historical Society at the Landing at Hudson Mills in Hudson after failing to do so two days ago.

Good thing I called before I came today, so I was able to check out the one room museum on the fourth floor.

After leaving the small museum, I decided to get a drink from Good Earth Holistic Kitchen, a cafe downstairs,

getting the The Hidden Bunny Smoothie (A blend of banana, berries, coconut milk, and hidden butternut squash for immunity benefits).
A little bland, but I guess that's what healthy is.

October 10th 2022: Apple Picking in Tyngsborough, Hiking in Littleton

After spending a fun day apple picking at Parlee Farms in Tyngsborough, which still has the best apple cider donuts in town,

We decided to go for a fall hike at Cloverdale Conservation Area in Littleton, where the loop path we took from the parking lot at 63 Great Road is shown below in pink.
Nice views of fall foliage,

but nothing much else here, with the cow tunnel here blocked by vegetation.

At least we got to try those donuts again.

October 9th 2022: Wild Hare, Hudson

Today, while wanting to check out the Hudson Historical Society

we decided to have brunch at Wild Hare, a nice cafe located within the same building at the Landing at Hudson Mills,

We got the Matcha Latte,

the M U S H R O O M T O A S T (r o a s t e d  k i n g  o y s t e r  m u s h r o o m s ,  c o n f i t  g a r l i c

p u r e e  a n d  h e r b  c r e a m  s a u c e  o n  h o u s e  s o u r d o u g h),

the WAGYU SLOPPY JOE (a m e r i c a n w a g y u , e x t r a s l o p p y. s e r v e d w i t h h o u s e
g r e e n s)

and the SAVORY POPCORN (fresh kernels popped in duck fat, s e a s o n e d  w i t h  truffle salt and parmesan cheese).
Pretty good food in my opinion, definitely worth a second try, especially the mushrooms and burger, although the museum was closed today.

October 8th 2022: Sudbury Aqueduct, Wellesley

After checking out the Skating Club of Boston in Norwood today,

where we got some French Fries

at 1240 Cafe

while checking out the ski rink here,

we decided to head to the Wellesley Country Club in Wellesley,

where we went on a hike on the Sudbury Aqueduct, where the path we took here is shown below in pink.

Nice historical structures here.

With that, we called it a day for a nice fall hike. We could have checked out Rosemary Brook on the side, but failed to do so. Oh well, next time then.

Glad I finally got to check out this place after all these years.

October 1st 2022: Starbucks and Japanese Buffet

Today, we went to a few Starbucks in the area for drinks, getting a Paradise Drink Starbucks Refreshers® Beverage (Tropical flavors of pineapple and passionfruit combine with diced pineapple and creamy coconut milk to create a delicious island escape) from the Westborough location

and a Chai Tea Latte (Black tea infused with cinnamon, clove and other warming spices is combined with steamed milk and topped with foam for the perfect balance of sweet and spicy) from the Marlborough location.
we then headed to Minado in Natick for lunch. Apparently I have never taken a picture of the inside of the restaurant.

Among other things we got the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Udon Noodle Soup.
Although the udon was pretty good, I must say that the quality of food has gone down over the years.

September 25th 2022: Legal Sea Foods at Copley Place, Boston

While taking our relatives on a tour of Boston today,

Shopper's Plaza

we decide to have lunch at the Legal Sea Foods located in Copley Place.

To let our relatives try local specialties, we got the New England Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque (cream sherry),

the New England Clams (whole-bellied, sweet & petite),

the Oysters of the Day
and the Half Pound Maine Lobster Roll (warm butter-poached or traditional with lemon mayo, french fries & coleslaw).
Our only complaint was that the clams were really small in portion, but otherwise everything else was excellent. Pity the weather did not permit much more sightseeing.
