February 19th 2016: Dinner at The Melting Pot, Framingham

Tonight, dinner was at the Melting Pot, a somewhat upscale Fondue place in Framingham.

We went with the 4 course experience. Our first course was the Fresh Spinach Artichoke (Fontina and Butterkäse cheeses, fresh spinach, artichoke hearts and garlic) Cheese Fondue, where the waitress prepared the cheese sauce right in front of us.

Really good sauce for the bread, vegetables and apples.

We got the Melting Pot House Salad (crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce, cheddar cheese,  fresh tomatoes, Crispy croutons, Sliced egg with Sweet and tangy house dressing)
Pretty good, mainly because of the sauce.

Next, the main course was the Pacific Rim (Teriyaki Marinated sirloin, Honey orange Duck Breast,  Pacific white Shrimp and Chicken potstickers),

with the Coq Au Vin (Burgundy wine Infused with fresh herbs,  spices and mushrooms).

Really interesting and unique concept, like an American version of hot pot.

For dessert,  we got the Original (milk chocolate swirled with Crunchy Peanut butter) Chocolate Fondue.
Not bad, once again. Overall, a pretty interesting meal concept. I wasn't expecting the main courses to be good as well, but they were.

After a wonderful dinner, we went nearby to the AMC theater
to watch "Zoolander 2". A pretty stupid movie in my opinion.
