April 14th 2017: Shaking Crab in Quincy

Shaking Crab just opened a new location in Quincy, so we decided to go check it out tonight.
This seafood place serves shellfish served up in a bag, shaken up with sauces before eating. To deal with the messiness, a bib

and gloves are provided,
along with tools to crack the shellfish.

We got the Half Shrimp and Half Crawfish with Shakin Cajun Flavor
and the Dungeness Crab with Seoul (Sweet Chilli Miso) Flavor, which my other half has not had before.
Pretty good actually, with the seafood being really fresh. I might not come back again though because of the messiness, and the price as well, but still I think it is worth trying out, especially if you had not had this unique concept yet. After dinner, I was still not full, so we headed nearby to Oh My Tea, a small bubble tea place for some dessert.
This place has an interesting concept too, allowing you to buy your tea in glass bottles that you can then bring home, and interestingly designed desserts as well. We got the Lychee Green Tea with Pudding in a bottle,
and the Budding Cup, which came with a cute mini-shovel to boot.
Pretty good stuff, although the cake was a little on the dry side.

I would like to recommend this place as well, but it seems like the place is going out of business as we speak, and there were no customers the entire time we were there. Not a bad night of eating out in Quincy though.
