February 2nd 2018: Dinner at Thairiffic, Marlborough

We decided to check out the new Thai restaurant in Marlborough, Thairiffic, This place used to be Sorrento, which I visited a long time ago, and the decor is pretty much the same.

We got the Roti Canai (Roti served with Canai chick pea curry),

the Takoyaki (Japanese snack, diced octopus, cabbage, green onion brush with takoyaki thick brown sauce and mayo),

and the Soft Shell Crab Mango Avocado Curry (Tempura Style soft shell crabs with mango and avocado in Thai yellow curry).

The bread was straight out of the freezer though, and the curry for it a little too sweet. Thankfully, the octopus balls were pretty tasty, as was the soft shell crab, perfected with the mango in it.

Overall, a pretty good meal actually. Not bad a replacement for Sorrento.
