We decided to take the family out to dinner tonight at Spring Shabu Shabu, the new hot pot buffet place in Boston which we visited once for lunch. We arrived shortly after it opened, but the place was already swarming with people, and we had to wait way over an hour to get a seat, even being mistakenly told that it was our turn twice.
For food, we got all the soup bases this time around, including the Pork Bone (Pork Bone and Kelp), Spicy Dashi (spicy radish strips added to dashi base) and Vegetarian (mushrooms and vegetables). We got the Top Neck Clams,
the Shrimp, the White Fish, the Lamb and the Prime Beef for meat.
Good and fresh as always, although the wait was a little too much to bear.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
