Today, we decided to check out a new area in Marlborough with lots of new restaurants, choosing
Evviva Cucina, a pretty nice Italian bar restaurant with other locations in Massachusetts as well.
We got a side of Mushroom Risotto (Cremini Mushroom, Parmigiano Brodo, Carnaroli Rice, Butter, Grana Padano) and the Shrimp Scampi (Black Tiger Shrimp, Garlic, Lemon, Fresh Basil, White Wine Reduction, Shaved Jalapeño, Ricotta, Spaghetti).
A little salty for both dishes, but surprisingly tasty, especially the tanginess of the pasta dish. Way too small portions for what we paid though, although the two of us were sated after the meal.
Overall, way overpriced in my opinion.
