Today, we decided to spend the day exploring Westborough,
going for lunch at Thaiminal on their opening day. Really nice decor inside.
For food, we got the Pad Thai Crispy Egg Noodle (fried crispy egg noodle stir fry with egg, bean sprout, scallion, and rushed peanuts),
the Spicy Tom Yum Fried Rice (fried rice with lime leaf, onion, tomato, scallion, egg and Thai spicy Tom Yum paste)
and the Yen Ta Fo Noodle Soup (steamed wide noodles with fried tofu, fishballs, imitate crab, crispy wonton, squid, scallion, cilantro and bean sprout in Thai red yen ta fo sauce and clear broth).
The pad thai and rice were pretty good, though a little sweet for the noodles and onions in the rice. The noodle soup did not feel that authentic though, just seemingly made of sriracha sauce and a little too spicy for our liking. Overall though, a pretty good meal to end the day, along with a Cranberry Blueberry Muffin from the
Red Barn Coffee Roasters across the street.
