Today, we went on a hike in the town of Foster RI,
at Spencer Property West. The path we took here is shown below in pink.
Leaves fallen everywhere, and the pond here was just alright I guess. At least my little one and other half had a good time here.
From here, it was on to look for a place to eat, which we settled for at
Zip's Diner, a small town diner in Killingly CT with outdoor seating. For food, we decided to get the Chowder,
the Mac and Cheese,
the Fried Scallops
and the Monte Cristo (two eggs and baked ham topped with cheese between two slices of french toast served with home fries).
The sandwich was really good, but filling, as were the scallops. The soup and macaroni were just so-so though, think they came from a can. Otherwise a pretty good day out this sunny day.
