Today, we decided to check out the village of Waban within the city of Newton,

going for breakfast at the Pressed Cafe location in the Newton Upper Falls area. We visited the location in Burlington a while back. This time, we got the Raspberry Cheese Croissant,
the Traditional Acai Bowl (Acai Berries Blended With Strawberries, Blueberries, & Almond Milk. Topped With Bananas, Strawberries, Granola, Almonds & Toasted Coconut)
and the Cilantro-Lime Chicken Panini (Cilantro-Lime Marinated Grilled Chicken, Monterey Jack Cheese, Salsa & Avocado, Pressed On Ciabatta) with Pasta Salad.
The acai and panini were pretty good, although the croissant and pasta salad were just so-so. Overall, a pretty good meal. For lunch, we headed to Bonapita, a cafeteria style Mediterranean place in the West Roxbury area of Boston, where we got the Toss It Chopped Salad (with chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and shredded cabbage on a bed of baby arugula, baby spinach and Romaine served with lemon olive oil dressing and tahini sauce) with Italian Balsamic Vinaigrette and Chicken Skewers
the Chicken + Veggie Soup and Plate It (white basmati rice and cooked vegetables, comes with complimentary pita) with Roasted Eggplant and Egg (Sabich).
Pretty fresh ingredients, and the chicken wasn't too dry, although our bowl of soup kept leaking, even after we placed it in a second one. Overall, an okay meal I guess. A nice day out exploring the village of Waban though.
