This morning, I started out with breakfast at
Aram's Cafe, a diner in Belmont.
I got an Egg, Cheese and Bacon Sandwich with Home Fries, which I forgot to take a picture of until I was almost done.
Nothing special though.
After work, I headed to Cumberland RI,

Going for a hike at
Diamond Hill Park,
Where the path I took is shown below in pink.
The water bodies here were nothing much to look At,
but there were decent views at the top of Diamond Hill on the Warner Trail,
Although I got a little lost around the water tower area.
Thankfully I was able to orientated myself and find my way back to the car.
My next hike was at
Otis Smith Farm, where the path I took here is shown below in pink.
There was nothing much to see at the supposed overlook, the trees being too overgrown.
My final hike in town was at
Monastery Park, where the path I took here is shown below in pink.
The water bodies here were nothing of significance though.
Nothing at the power lines either.
The highlight of my stint in Cumberland today was at the
Valley Falls Heritage Park, and you can see why below.
Next, it was time for my first foray into Central Falls RI.

where I decided to have dinner at
Fountain Street Grille, a bar restaurant in town.
I got the Pesto Caprese Bruschetta (Pesto, fresh Mozzarella cheese & sliced Tomatoes topped with a Balsamic Reduction),
the Beef Tips (12oz. Tender Beef, marinated and grilled to perfection),
which came with a Manhattan Clam Chowder (in Ocean of Clams sautéed with Onions, Celery, diced Tomato and cubed Potato in a Clam Broth served with Oyster Crackers),
and the New York Style Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce for dessert.
The soup was pretty good, being full of clams, while the bread was excellent as well with tons of melted cheese and vinaigrette sauce. The dessert was not too bad either. However, the beef was a little on the dry side. On that note, I would say this place is just average, with nothing much special on the menu.
With that, a pretty productive day of exploring northeastern Rhode Island was at an end.
