March 17th 2015: Dinner with a Friend at Edamame, Watertown

Today after work, I went to Watertown to have dinner with a friend at Edamame, a Japanese restaurant in town.

This place is located inside a strip mall, which took a little while to locate.

For appetizers, we got the Age Tofu (Light Fried Tofu),

the Tuna Dumpling (Tuna Sashimi, stuffed with avocado, black tobiko, crunchy drizzled with wasabi olive oil),

the Edamame Special Salad (squid, shrimp, tobiko, seaweed salad, avocado and crunchy with miso sauce),

the Shrimp Mango Roll (lobster salad, avocado and lettuce inside with shrimp, mango and tobiko on the top, served in mango sauce)

and the Spicy Tuna Sandwich (spicy tuna, avocado, crunchy red tobiko, bonito flakes in a sandwich shape, served with spicy mayonnaise)
All the dishes weren't too bad, but I have to say nothing was really that fantastic to warrant me coming back here again, even though the tuna dumpling and sandwich were interesting concepts.

After dinner, we went to watch the live action version of "Cinderella" at the Showcase Cinemas De Lux Revere.

Not bad actually. I especially liked the little plot changes that were made to make it different from the 1950 version.
