I drove into Manhattan NY today to meet up with friends,
8 Spruce |
Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse |
Manhattan Bridge |
starting off with a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Really big place.
From here, we went to have an Italian dinner at Giovanni Venticinque at 25 East 83rd Street, where we got the ZUPPA DEL GIORNO (Soup of the day, Broccoli Soup), the COZZE AL BRODETTO (Prince Edward Island mussels in a tomato, white wine, and garlic broth),the CARPACCIO DI FILETTO DI MANZO (Filet mignon carpaccio; topped with mushrooms, parmigiano shavings, and truffle oil),
the SCALOPPINE DI VITELLO PICCATA (Veal scaloppine, sautéed with capers, lemon and white wine),
and the Carbonara.Pretty good meal overall I must say.
