Today, we decided to get takeout from the Thai Place in Shrewsbury.
We got the Thai Iced Tea,
the Thai Country Noodle (Stir fried rice noodle with combination of vegetables, chicken, egg and basil leaves in Thai curry paste)
and the Pineapple Fried Rice (Stir fried rice with shrimp, egg, pineapple, tomatoes, onions, peas, scallions and cashew nuts).
The drink and noodles were pretty tasty, although the rice was a little on the bland side in my opinion.
Dinner was late at the Bertucci's in Westborough,
with us getting a Red Sangria (a combination of chilled red wine, orange and lemon juices, fresh squeezed limes and a touch of cinnamon),
the Steak Tips Fettucine (al dente fettucine, sauteed steak tips, mushroom cream sauce with porcini and white truffle essence) and the Nolio Pizza (Parma-style prosciutto, caramelized onions,
lightly seasoned cream, Pecorino Romano, mozzarella).
The pasta was a tad too salty, although the pizza was not bad, albeit a little on the sweet side. Needless to say, not coming back again.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
