Today, my boss decided to take us out to lunch. I decided to recommend Big T's Mill Street BBQ Company in Worcester, which I enjoyed the last time I was there. This time around, we got the Dirty Tots (Crispy Tater Tots topped with burnt ends, gravy and house beer cheese sauce) and Cajun Grilled Shrimp (Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, dusted with Cajun Spices. Served over Country Rice) for appetizers.
The tots were delicious with the sauce and the ends which were burnt just right, while the shrimp was not bad, though nothing special.
My colleagues got the Farmer's Chopped Salad (Tossed greens, diced tomatoes, cucumber and red onion, chopped bacon and hard boiled egg. Tossed in house Balsamic vinaigrette),
the Bucket of St. Louis Ribs (half rack of St. Louis Ribs deep fried drizzled with BBQ sauce. served with Hand Cut Fries and Cole Slaw)
and the BBQ Beef Bronco Rib (huge beef chuck rib, served with demi-glace and creamy horseradish mustard, Served with Roasted Veggies and Cornbread),
while I got the BBQ Split (Mac N Cheese topped with Pulled Pork, Country Rice topped with Carolina Pulled Chicken, Cornbread Topped Baked Beans topped with Texas Brisket).
The brisket was simply delectable, especially with the cornbread and baked beans below. The macaroni was not too salty or cheesy, and the meats were cooked just right. Definitely the right choice for a company lunch today, for a difference.
This blog is to serve as a record of my quest to visit every single town/city in Massachusetts and determine what are the great places to see/restaurants to eat at. Feel free to give me feedback on places that I might have missed out on, especially the great restaurants since I can only eat 3 times a day.
