Today, we spent the day in Sudbury,
having brunch at
The Farmer's Daughter, a pretty upscale and popular diner in town.
We got the Butterfly Pea Flower Latte (butterfly pea flower and green tea, oat milk, honey, iced),
the Fruit + Grains (citrus-honey turmeric greek yogurt. fresh fruit. almond granola + honey),
the Benedict (toasted challah. poached farm eggs. fran’s sweet tomato jam. chive hollandaise, butter poached lobster)
and the Chicken + Waffle Sammie (buttermilk brined crispy chicken. local maple. slab bacon. spicy aioli. watercress. chive. cheddar + corn waffle, crispy smashed potatoes).
The yogurt had a tad too much turmeric in it, but otherwise, the drink was delicious, and I have to say, the eggs benedict were the best I have had ever, with really good buttery flavor. The waffle sandwich was excellent as well, sweet with a little kick to the flavor. Overall, a really good meal here. Can see why this place is so popular.
