13th November 2021: Ramen and Dessert in Brookline and Newton

Today, while in Brookline, we decided to have lunch at Migaku Noodle House, a small ramen place in town. We got the Stamina Ramen (Ramen noodles topped with sweet soy seasoned pork and Onsen egg),

and the Kara-Goma Champon (Champon noodles with spicy ground pork, seafood and spicy sesame broth),

with a side of Boiled Egg.

Pretty good ramen, especially with seafood. 

From here, we decided to head across the road to Serenade Chocolatier, getting a box of truffles containing Apricot, French Truffle, Orange Peel, Ginger, Coconut, Dulce de Leche, Strawberry, Raspberry, Mulled Wine Truffle, Champagne, Cherry Cordial, Blood Orange, Thai, Passionfruit.

Overall, a small place, and the chocolates weren't anything special. 

For more dessert, our final stop of the day was Forty Carrots in the Mall at Chestnut Hill in Newton, this time getting the Dutch Chocolate flavor. 

Not as good as the original though.
