July 8th 2023: Checking Out the New England Air Museum, East Granby CT

 Today, we headed first into Windsor Locks CT,

MTV Solutions

Connecticut Fire Academy

getting lunch at Doro Marketplace,

with the Peanut Butter Cookie,

the Matcha Latte,

the TOFU SCRAMBLE (turmeric scrambled tofu, sweet potato, spinach, avocado, broccoli)

and the Mac and Cheese.

Pretty good start to the day actually.

With that, we headed into East Granby CT

to check out the New England Air Museum. A big museum with a decent collection of airplanes and helicopters, although not as good as the American Heritage Museum in Hudson MA in my opinion.

There are also turkey sculptures scattered all over town as part of East Granby 150th from 15 years ago.

Our final stop for the day was Sonny's Place, a mini-golf area in Somers CT for my little one to have some fun,

getting Chicken Fingers and Fries for a quick bite.

With that, an end to our day of checking out the New England Air Museum.
