August 22nd 2018: The Merrimack Historical Society, Merrimack NH

I started out in Londonderry NH this morning,
St. Mark the Evangelist Church
Orchard Christian Fellowship

going on a hike at the Town Center Trails, where the path I took is shown below in pink.
I first visited the Peace Pole,
then headed to the apple orchard side, where I thought I was trespassing,
Next, the Adams Pond area,
then the town common area,
then the area behind the schools.
Not a bad hike actually. From here, it was on to Merrimack NH,
Bedford Road Baptist Church
Watson Park
Horseshoe Pond
to visit the Historical Society there. Nothing much but a one room schoolhouse here.
With that, I called it a day and headed to work. After work, I went to Mike's Roast Beef and Seafood in Everett to get a small Roast Beef Sandwich.
Nothing special though.

August 20th 2018: Exploring Much of Litchfield NH

This morning, I started out in Londonderry NH,
Londonderry Square
then headed to Litchfield NH,
Roy Memorial Park
Litchfield Presbyterian Church
Open Doors Christian Fellowship
Mel's Funway Park
Grace Covenant Church
St. Francis of Assisi Church
going for a hike at the Moore's Falls Conservation Area from 530 Charles Bancroft Highway.

The falls are actually just rapids,
which were not much to see. My wanderings led me back to the St. Francis of Assisi Church area, from which I headed back along the road to my car.

From here, I headed into Merrimack NH,
First Church of Merrimack
Veterans Memorial, 7 Baboosic Lake Road
Abbie Griffin Park
Our Lady of Mercy Church
Weston Park

exploring the Twin Bridge Park,

which has pretty nice waterfalls

in the trails behind the park where the bridges are.
With that, I called it a day and headed to work. After work, I headed to Wellesley to get some ice cream from Truly Yogurt,
getting the Crunchasaurus flavor.
Not bad, but nothing special.

August 17th 2018: Venturing into Londonderry NH

I started out this morning in Salem NH,
Fire Department
Pleasant Street United Methodist Church
St. Joseph Church
then Windham NH,
Delahunty Garden and Landscape Center
Letizio Tower
where I went on a hike at the Foster's Pond Conservation Area, where the path I took from 34 Nashua Road is shown below in pink.
I tried to find the rail bed, but ended up going on the Nancy Johnson Trail instead. Finding my way to the pond in the south, there was a decent view of it from the rail bed.
Venturing back into the woods, I passed by several wetlands areas,
getting lost before finally finding my way to Foster's Pond, where there were several views as I walked around it.
Back at my car, I headed into Londonderry NH for the first time,
Kendall Pond
Town Common
Londonderry United Methodist Church
Londonderry Presbyterian Church
Londonderry High School
Central Fire Station
Londonderry Baptist Church
then crossed the river into Merrimack NH
St. James United Methodist Church
Homestead Restaurant and Tavern
Faith Episcopal Church
before calling it a day and heading to work. After work, I went to get some ice cream from White Mountain Creamery in Newton, getting the Candy Bar flavor.
Not sure why it was so melted though. Not coming back again for sure.
